The beginning of their story
A voice keepsake for a new baby.
The welcome you wanted to say. A grandparent’s lullaby. The story of the day you met.
Record a short message, add a photo and a note, and place the QR code in a baby book or welcome card. Keep the downloadable recording beside the first photographs.
$29.99 once, plus applicable tax. Preview before paying. Digital files; you arrange any printing.
Choose a moment to mark.
You might record a welcome during the first week, a message before family travels home, or a story for the first birthday. Put the recording date in your note so its context is easy to find later.
For parents, a quiet sentence during a busy week can be more manageable than a long letter. For friends or grandparents making a gift, check with the parent or guardian before including the baby’s photo, name or other details.
Keep those first sounds and a welcome message.
Start with who is speaking. Tell one story, offer one wish, or sing a song you have the right to share. The finished page holds up to two minutes, so there is room for a short welcome from more than one person.
Record in the studio or upload a recording you have. You can also use the sound from a video. Trim away anything you do not want to include and put the parts in order. Leave the original files intact, especially if they contain more of the moment than fits in the keepsake.
Add it to the memory book.
A photo, the date and a sentence explaining the recording give the page its context. Review those details and play the recording before paying. Once published, the page is final.
After the page is ready, use a QR card from the print kit or add the QR image beside a photograph. Label it ‘A welcome from your family — scan to listen.’ Test the finished print and save the MP3 and offline page in the same folder as the baby photos.
Before you share the welcome
- Ask the parent or guardian which photo and details they are comfortable including.
- Include who is speaking and when the recording was made.
- Leave private birth details, contact information and locations out of a widely shared page.
- Choose the people who will receive the link; they can also pass it on.
- Save a second copy of the recording and offline page with the family photos.

See the included files and try a sample kitChoose who hears it. Keep a copy.
Anyone with the listening link or QR code can open the page and pass it on. Share only recordings and photos you have permission to use. An adult must create and purchase the keepsake, with the required permissions for anyone included.
Download the recording and offline page, open them once, and keep a second copy with your personal files. The printed QR opens the hosted page and needs an internet connection; your saved offline page works separately.
